Hi, I'm Yanina Wall, the owner and lead designer of Bluebell Peak Designs. It all began with my favourite view, Cam Peak, Gloucestershire, which was in full bloom with bluebells. I knew I wanted to capture the best of British wildlife and heritage within my home but struggled to find beautifully detailed pieces that used natural materials. With the birth of my daughter in 2017 I decided to take the leap and use my illustrative talents to design wooden decor and with the making know-how of my mum this little company was born. We use a laser cutter, cotton and locally sourced cabinetry ply, all in the effort to be as sustainable as possible. We hope you find pieces you are inspired by and will bring joy to your home for many years to come.

I'm braving the world with an inside look at the madness which leads Bluebell Peak Design with my new studio vlog. I would love you to come and join me there and experience the creative process and inspiration that drive me.

'One World Promise'

We only have one world to live in, so here at Bluebell Peak Designs we promise to do our best in our little studio to do all we can to be sustainable. This company was founded because gorgeous animal lamps were hard to come by in sustainable materials and we want to further this goal throughout our little company.

Our creations will hopefully bring joy to your home for many years, but we know there will be an end to all objects. With this in mind we have made all our products from natural materials such as cotton, wood from sustainable forestry (FSC) and wool felt. In this way we can ensure that if and when our products enter landfill they will have no negative bearing on the environment and wildlife surrounding it as it degrades. We can't help the plastic in our lights as it makes electricity safe, but hope that it will be recycled into another needed gadget.

We are proud that we have minimised our waste from making lamps by creating more beautiful items for you. All our excess wood is turned into our jewellery, magnets and other nick knacks.

Packaging is perhaps the most tricky to navigate but we have chosen to only use biodegradable products to wrap and send our products to you. Even the bubble wrap is biodegradable, you can rest easy that you are not contributing further to the plastic deluge.

So know that by purchasing these items you are helping us be kinder to the planet and help a small business bloom into one kinder to the world.
